Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how Jazari Tech ("Jazari Tech", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit jazari.tech, contact us, use the Offer Management System (OMS), or use our mobile apps Splitly and Ream.
We are the data controller for the personal data described here under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy also serves as our information notice under Article 10 of KVKK.
1.Who we are
Jazari Tech. You can reach us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
2.Data we collect on this website
- Server and security logs: Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Cookieless measurement: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure loading speed without cookies and without identifying you.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived, and your approximate location and device type. Microsoft Clarity records how you interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and may create session replays with typed text masked.
- Contact form: When you send the contact form on our website, we receive what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number and message. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a form forwarding service.
- Email: If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever your message contains.
- Preferences on your device: Your theme, language and cookie choice are saved in your browser. Only the language cookie is sent to our server, so we can show the site in the language you picked.
4.Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- Running and securing the website: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure site (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Measuring and improving the website with analytics cookies: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time as described under Cookies.
- Answering enquiries and preparing quotes and demos: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to you (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Providing and billing OMS: performance of our contract with your company (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records (KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç); GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
5.Offer Management System (OMS)
When your company subscribes to OMS, we host the application and its database for you. Your company decides what goes into it, for example user accounts, client and contact details, products, prices, offers and attachments.
For that data your company is the data controller, and we act as its data processor: we use it only to provide, secure, back up and support the service on your company's instructions, keep it confidential, and never use it for our own purposes. We will sign a data processing agreement on request.
The OMS desktop app, including the free demo, checks our servers for updates. These requests include the app version and your IP address.
6.Splitly and Ream
- Ream: works on your files entirely on your device. It has no account, no ads and no analytics, and the Android app does not have internet permission, so your files never reach us or anyone else.
- Splitly: keeps your groups, expenses and balances only on your device. It has no account and no server: phones sync directly by scanning each other's QR codes, and exports and encrypted backups are files you control. We never receive this data.
- Camera: both apps use the camera only on the device, Ream to scan documents and Splitly to scan sync QR codes. Nothing captured is sent anywhere.
If you contact us about either app, for example to join the beta, we handle your message as described above. App stores such as Google Play process data under their own privacy policies when you download an app.
8.International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside Türkiye, including in the European Union and the United States. Where KVKK applies, we transfer personal data abroad only as allowed by Article 9 of KVKK, for example under standard contracts. For data from the EU we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
9.How long we keep data
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless they lead to a contract.
- Contract and billing records: as long as Turkish commercial and tax law requires, generally 10 years.
- OMS customer data: for the length of the subscription. After it ends you can request an export for 30 days, and we then delete the data, except copies the law requires us to keep.
- Analytics and logs: for the retention period set in each tool, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
10.Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may ask us whether we process your personal data and, if so, for information about it; learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used for that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is shared with; ask for it to be corrected if incomplete or inaccurate, or deleted or destroyed; ask for those corrections or deletions to be passed on to the third parties it was shared with; object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Where the GDPR applies you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
Send requests to [email protected]. We answer free of charge within 30 days. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
11.Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and backups. No system is perfectly secure, so we will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires it.
12.Children
Our website and services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell OMS customers about significant changes by email.
14.Contact
Questions or requests about your data: [email protected].
